Opened in May 2022, Wide Horizons is a new primary school in the Waithaka area of Nairobi, Kenya. The school aims to bring a good, values-based education to this under-served community, giving students new opportunities and expanding their horizons. Wide Horizons sits high on a peaceful, breezy acre of land in the heart of a bustling area of Waithaka. Classes were held in temporary metal buildings for several years until modern classrooms could be built. The children moved into the new buildings in September 2024.    All the students are given a hot lunch, and for some, this may be the only hot meal they have that day.
